The February newsletter has just arrived and as usual, lots is happening.
In particular, the demonstration wicking beds will again be a feature at the 2014 Begonia Festival at the Botanic Gardens over the Labour Day long weekend.
I have just returned from tending the demonstration edible and medicinal succulent plant display, but others that are interesting include bee attracting plants, herbs, indigenous and bird attracting species, chicken beneficials, fruit and vegetables.
The Guild will also have a stall at the Rural Lifestyle Expo at the Showgrounds on 5th April.
Additionally there are regular Permies at the Pub social gatherings, Perma Blitzes, workshops and regular meetings.
